- This is the second and ultimate version of the mix of live and studio audio that turns “Guess I'm Fallin' In Love” into a complete piece. The original studio audio appeared on VU, ad again on the expanded re-release of White Light White Heat with a different mix. The live version also appears on the WLWH re-release. These have been beat-matched and mixed together. It's got a good beat and you can dance The Ostrich to it.

The simple, straight ahead stuff really showcases how good Tucker and Morrison were. Incidentally, they went to the same HS in Levittown, graduating two years apart. I'm sure that the school has an auditorium for assemblies and live performances. If the people in charge (of the school or school district), had any class they would name it Morrison-Tucker auditorium/ theatre/ hall, after the two of them. The would invite Mo Tucker, and Martha Morrison to the renaming, in proper keeping with the occasion. Of course this will never happen.

Fantastic. Oddest picture of the original Velvets in existence, to boot. Everyone either looks like their own sibling or cut out of an old Sears Roebuck catalog and onto a bootleg 45 sleeve.

Yeah, this one had the benefit of a live track with loud vocals, so it was possible to do. In most other cases it's not do-able.

It sounds like the guitar sound has been supplemented to make it sound "nicer".
Hi Jowe, it's a mix of the studio version with no vocals (that first appeared on VU, and then again with a more conservative mix in the White Light White Heat Deluxe Edition) and the live 1967 version from The Gymnasium. The live version is speed matched bar by bar to the studio version. The live version has loud vocals, which works out well for the mix. All of it is VU: Reed Cale Morrison Tucker.

This is even better than the earlier version that you did - I don’t know how you improved on perfection, but you did.

Just cut apart the two versions measure by measure and synced them up in Adobe Audition.
The instrumental studio audio originally appeared on the CD 'Another View' (1986), which has two more "instrumental" studio outtakes: 'I'm Gonna Move Right In' and 'Ride Into the Sun'.
Instrumentals which in fact have been performed with vocals. Can you make mixes of all three?

Released? If I'm not mistaken, this is the still rare version from the obscure 3CD 'What Goes On' (1993). My favourite.

@@barrystockdoesnotexist I'm already thankful that you reconstructed 'I'm Guess I'm Falling in Love' (1968). It sounds like the hit single which I think it could have been. A great "Record Day" release. I wonder why it was left unfinished.
I can only imagine what you could do with 'I'm Gonna Move Right In'. As far as I know, this one didn't even had an official vocal release of any version. And I'm curious what you think of my proposed rare vocal version of 'Ride Into the Sun', which sounds to me as being a version based on the instrumental version of 'Another View' - or at least a backing track very close to it.
